"I have worked with Clarke Lambert for the past 7 years and have always found their work to be of a very high quality. As a new headteacher, I found their service to be excellent: they offer open and honest advice that is in the best interests of the school and always suggest where savings could be made without compromising quality. As they have worked within the education sector for so long, they understand the specific requirements for health and safety, so nothing gets missed (finger guards, safety glass, appropriate fire evacuation routes etc). They also understand the safeguarding and conduct requirements in a school: their teams are all DBS checked; security conscious; tidy, calm and quiet (no blaring radios, shouting or inappropriate dress code). Nick and Hannah are always on hand to meet to discuss potential projects and show a genuine interest and joy in the possible outcomes for the children - they appreciate the impact that beautiful, efficient spaces can have. Nick is passionate about old buildings and period features and, where appropriate, will suggest ways to bring these back to their original standard - for example, stripping and re-varnishing wooden hall floors. However, if modernisation is required, that is what he will suggest. Clarke Lambert have completed several large and small projects in my school. All of them have run to time, and communication has been excellent throughout - we are delighted with the results. They are always happy to provide detailed quotes and maintain strong relationships whether these are accepted or not. I would recommend Clarke Lambert to any school."

"I'm writing on behalf of all the children at Pott Shrigley Church School to say a heartfelt thank you for our new play area! We had an official opening ceremony with the Mayor of Bollington, Jon Weston, followed by a tea party just before half term to mark the occasion. The children are loving the newly acquired space and adventure it provides."

"Clarke Lambert have recently carried a fire door replacement scheme at one of our secondary schools. The work involved internal and external doors of wooden and aluminium construction, repairing and replacing frames as well as the doors themselves. The work was carried over a half-term holiday period and there were a lot of doors to replace, Clarke Lambert managed to get all the work completed to a very high standard in a short space of time. With such a large job completed in such a short time there were inevitable one or two minor faults, this is the time when you find out how good your contractor really is – I was very impressed with how quickly they responded to resolve the issues. I would happily recommend them from our experience."

"Clarke Lambert have completed phase 1&2 of a project at Holy Name throughout 2017, which has included an extension and internal remodelling, resulting from their competitive tenders for the work. Owner Nick Boult was present and immersed in the project from start to finish, with pre and post meetings and regular communication including progress updates, based on the project schedule. We noted that he placed emphasis on ensuring the wellbeing of his staff and others in the vacinity through well-organised site preparation and health and safety steps including resourceful temporary measures as they arose. His team brought a wide range of skills to support the work, nowadays difficult to find, and coupled this with attention to detail together with his personal high expectations for achieving top quality. Nick responded well to emerging and unexpected issues to meet agreed deadlines and ad-hoc requests from the school, sometimes by redeploying his workforce, or by sourcing tradesmen (sometimes at short notice) such as electricians and plumbers. Parents, staff, pupils, visitors and governors alike have all commented on the magnificent transformation, and particularly like the bespoke oak carpentry, new fixtures and fittings and decor to compliment the modern building design. We would recommend Clark Lambert to others because they have proven to be trustworthy, able to work to schedule and operate with attention to tidiness. Nick and his staff always attended as promised and worked very hard, and nothing was too much trouble. Help and advice was always on hand, and Nick offered honest and expert opinions based on his experience (even when not of benefit to himself) to help resolve queries. As a school, we value contractors like Clarke Lambert who are able to demonstrate that they are safe to work in schools via DBS checks and that our high standards of courtesy, politeness and appreciation for our children's’ safety and learning is respected at all times."
